The bed was comfy as I had a good night's sleep! 🚪 But the walls were thin, so I needed earplugs. Overall, decent stay close to the Avenue of the Giants.

The small private balcony provided a nice spot to unwind after a long day. The room featured a second sink, which is a useful addition.
The walls were pretty thin, requiring earplugs for a decent night's sleep. The mini fridge was so tiny that it felt more like a toy version, not suitable for more than a drink or two. Plus, the shower head was missing, leaving a cold stream for washing up. The overall vibe felt overpriced for what was offered, especially compared to other spots in the area, and there’s not much choice for dining nearby.

The final verdict on this
I was thrilled with the generous late check-out, perfect for post-race refreshment! The clean room was just off the freeway, which offered easy access. Plus, the ADA/wheelchair accessible bathroom shows great attention to detail. Great choice for anyone needing convenience and comfort on a budget!

The Queen Room felt cozy and comfortable, providing a nice space to rest after a long day. The management was super accommodating when I needed a microwave. The garden area was lovely, perfect for unwinding outside. However, there were cleanliness issues. I found dust in the corners and even a half-smoked cigarette on the floor. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, which affected my sleep. Housekeeping could use more attention, especially around the bathroom where I noticed some grime. The location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, which I appreciated.

We loved exploring the nearby Redwood National and State Parks. The kids enjoyed the beautiful trails, and our dog loved the open spaces. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly food options.

Family with children, Ideal for Exploring!
The room was cozy, two beds separated by a wall, and my kids were genuinely thrilled, their excitement was contagious, it was like sleepover paradise!
It wasn’t cheap, but the value was still acceptable for what we got.

The Queen Room featured a spacious layout and was notably clean, providing a refreshing environment for relaxation. Staff assistance was top-notch. I requested a microwave and received prompt service. However, the overall atmosphere wasn’t as inviting due to the lack of additional amenities and limited options for kid-friendly food. The firm mattress felt more like sleeping on the floor, which detracted from the comfort of the stay.

This place was just a commendable fit for a flash stay in Garberville with outstanding value for money. The manager’s cat was a delightful surprise, adding a cozy touch to the stay. Make sure to bring your refreshments as there isn't much around here.
